At Mackler Associates, we specialize in SAT tutoring, offering a holistic approach to preparing you for your SAT test. Our SAT prep program is designed to meet the individual needs of each student, so the work targets what that student is actually losing points on.
Whether you need help with SAT math, SAT reading, or SAT writing, our experienced SAT tutor is here to guide you through every step of your preparation journey.
Embrace the future of testing with our digital SAT prep solutions, tailored to the new format of the SAT test.
The SAT has been fully digital in the United States since 2024. Students take it in College Board’s Bluebook app, which locks the device for the duration of the test. A calculator is built in and available on every math question, text can be highlighted on screen, and scrap paper is permitted for working.
Preparation happens in that format rather than on paper, because the habits that matter — when to reach for the on-screen tools, how to pace two adaptive modules — only exist in the real thing.

Our private SAT tutoring service offers one-on-one attention, allowing for customized lesson plans that target the student’s specific weaknesses. With SAT private tutoring sessions, students receive the focused support they need to excel in the SAT exam with online tutoring. Jason Marks teaches every SAT section personally — math, reading and writing — dedicated to helping you achieve your highest possible SAT score.

Every SAT session is taught by Jason Marks personally. There is no roster and no handoff partway through a program.
He was a National Merit Scholar, attended the Honors College at the University of Missouri, graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and holds a J.D. from Washington University School of Law. He has prepared St. Louis students for the SAT since 2000.
The digital SAT is adaptive — how difficult the second module gets depends on how a student performs on the first. That changes how pacing works and rewards accuracy early in a way the paper test never did. Preparation has to account for it.
In addition to SAT test prep, we offer resources for related standardized tests, including ACT prep, AP exams, and PSAT prep. Our comprehensive approach ensures students are well-prepared for the SAT and other significant academic challenges. From practice tests to private courses, our extensive library of resources and two decades of experience are your key to success.

Sessions are held in person at our office on North Mason Road in Creve Coeur, a few minutes south of Olive Boulevard, with parking on site.
In-person matters more on the digital SAT than people expect. Watching a student work through a module on screen shows where the time actually goes — which questions they revisit, where they second-guess themselves, and whether they’re running short of clock in the back half. A score report won’t tell you that.
Families come to us from Ladue, Clayton, Chesterfield, Town and Country, Frontenac and Olivette.
The December SAT is on 5 December, with registration closing 20 November.
